Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City

• Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, meet your Vietnam Legend Travel guide, and transfer to your hotel.

• The rest of the day is at leisure.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 2: Mekong Day Trip (B/L)

• Morning:

  • After breakfast, depart for Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Cross the Rach Mieu Cable Bridge and stop at the Ben Tre local market to witness daily life.

  • Board a boat on the Ham Luong River for a 40-minute trip through lush coconut groves.

• Afternoon:

  • Explore a local village, enjoy tropical juice, and see coconut candy making. Ride a tuk-tuk to visit homes producing brooms from coconut leaves. Enjoy a "homemade" lunch with a local family before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)

• Morning:

  • After breakfast, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network built by Vietnamese resistance fighters.

• Afternoon:

  • Enjoy a city tour, including the War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Old Saigon Post Office.

  • In the evening, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An.

• Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 4: Hoi An - Hue (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Take a walking tour of Hoi An’s ancient town, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, merchants' homes, and the vibrant market.

• Afternoon:

  • Depart for Hue via the scenic Hai Van Pass, stopping at Lang Co fishing village. Arrive in Hue in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.

• Overnight: Hue

 

Day 5: Hue City Tour - Ha Noi (B/L)

• Morning:
  • Take a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.
• Afternoon:
  • Visit the mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh, then explore the Imperial Citadel.
  • In the evening, fly to Ha Noi and transfer to your hotel.
• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 6: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

• Morning:

  • Drive to Ha Long Bay, passing through the Red River Delta.

• Afternoon:

  • Board a traditional junk for a cruise through Ha Long Bay, visiting Dinh Huong Island, Sung Sot Cave, and Titov Beach.

  • Enjoy dinner on board.

• Overnight: Onboard in Ha Long Bay

 

Day 7: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi (B/Brunch)

• Morning:

  • Enjoy breakfast while cruising past stunning rock formations. Disembark in Ha Long City and drive back to Ha Noi.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 8: Ha Noi City Tour (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Tour Ha Noi's iconic landmarks, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature.

• Afternoon:

  • Visit the Museum of Ethnology and explore the Old Quarter by cyclo. End the day with a traditional water puppet show.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 9: Depart Ha Noi (B)

• After breakfast, enjoy free time until your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your onward flight.
