VLT03 - VIETNAM ESSENTIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Day 1: Arrival in Ha Noi

• Welcome at Noi Bai International Airport.

• Transfer to your hotel in central Ha Noi.

• Relax or explore at your leisure.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 2: Ha Noi City Tour (B/L)

• Morning: Visit historic sites: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside only), Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature.

• Afternoon:

  • Explore the Museum of Ethnology.

  • Take a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter.

  • End the day at Hoan Kiem Lake with a Water Puppet Show.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 3: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

• Drive to Ha Long Bay through the scenic Red River Delta.

• Board a traditional junk for a cruise.

• Visit Surprise Grotto and swim in the emerald waters.

• Watch the sunset and enjoy a fresh seafood dinner.

• Overnight: Onboard Junk

 

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi – Hue (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Visit Luon Cave on a bamboo boat.

  • Cruise past stunning limestone formations.

• Afternoon:

  • Return to Ha Noi and take a flight to Hue.

  • Transfer to your hotel upon arrival.

• Overnight: Hue

 

Day 5: Hue City Tour (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum.

• Afternoon:

  • Explore the Imperial Citadel.

  • Visit the mausoleums of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh.

  • Stop by Dong Ba Market for local shopping.

• Overnight: Hue

 

Day 6: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B/L)

• Depart for Danang and visit Ba Na Hills, including:

  • The Golden Bridge.

  • French Village.

• Transfer to Hoi An and check in.

• Enjoy leisure time in the evening.

• Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 7: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Visit the Japanese Bridge, Chinese Temple, and a Vietnamese merchant’s house in Hoi An.

  • Participate in a lantern-making workshop.

• Afternoon:Fly to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to your hotel.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 8: Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)

• Morning: Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels.

• Afternoon:Visit key landmarks:

  • Ben Thanh Market.

  • War Remnants Museum.

  • Reunification Palace.

  • Old Saigon Post Office.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 9: Mekong Delta (B/L)

• Travel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta.

• Activities:

  • Enjoy a boat trip and visit local workshops.

  • Experience village life.

  • Cook traditional dishes with a local host.

• Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 10: HCMC Departure (B)

• Free time until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
