VLT01 - VIETNAM HIGHLIGHTS

Day 01: Arrival in Ha Noi

• Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, greeted by a local guide with a Vietnam Legend Travel welcome sign.

• Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi's city center.

• Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

• Overnight: Ha Noi.

 

Day 02: Ha Noi City Tour (B/L)

• Morning: Visit historic sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside only), Ho Chi Minh House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature.

• Afternoon: Explore the Museum of Ethnology, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter, and visit Ngoc Son Temple at Hoan Kiem Lake.

• Conclude the day with a traditional Water Puppet Show.

• Overnight: Ha Noi.

 

Day 03: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh (B/L)

• Morning: Drive to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital under the Dinh Dynasty, and explore its sanctuaries and tombs.

• Continue to Tam Coc for breathtaking views of limestone peaks and green valleys.

• Climb to the top of Mua Cave (500 steps) for a panoramic view.

• Take a rowing boat ride along the canals of Tam Coc and explore the serene beauty of the three caves.

• Overnight: Ninh Binh.

 

Day 04: Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

• Morning: Drive through the scenic Red River Delta to Ha Long Bay.

• Board a traditional junk for a cruise, enjoy fresh seafood, and visit Surprise Grotto.

• Swim in the emerald waters and savor the sunset.

• Overnight: On Board.

 

Day 05: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi – Hue (B/L)

• Early risers enjoy tea, coffee, and a visit to Luon Cave on a bamboo boat.

• Cruise past limestone formations like Tortoise Islet and Bai Tho Mountain.

• Disembark and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for a short flight to Hue.

• Overnight: Hue.

 

Day 06: Hue City Tour (B/L)

• Morning: Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum.

• Afternoon: Explore the Imperial Citadel, Emperor Tu Duc & Khai Dinh Mausoleums, and Dong Ba Market.

• Overnight: Hue.

 

Day 07: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B/L)

• Morning: Travel to Da Nang and visit Ba Na Hills, the French Village, and the Golden Bridge.

• Afternoon: Continue to Hoi An, check in, and enjoy free time.

• Overnight: Hoi An.

 

Day 08: Hoi An (B/L)

• Visit the Japanese Bridge, Chinese Temple, and a merchant’s house.

• Participate in a lantern-making workshop and keep your creation as a souvenir.

• Overnight: Hoi An.

 

Day 09: Hoi An (B/L)

• Morning: Visit Hoi An Market with a guide, shop for fresh ingredients, and take a basket boat ride through the nipa palm forest.

• Enjoy a cooking class in Coconut Village and savor your creations.

• Afternoon: Free time to relax or explore.

• Overnight: Hoi An.

 

Day 10: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

• Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

• Check in at your hotel and enjoy leisure time.

• Optional Activities: Scooter Food Tour or A O Show.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 11: Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)

• Morning: Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels.

• Afternoon: Visit Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 12: Mekong Delta (B/L)

• Morning: Travel to Cai Be for a boat trip, visit workshops, and cross the Mekong River.

• Explore An Binh Island by bike and enjoy lunch.

• Afternoon: Continue to Can Tho for an evening at leisure.

• Overnight: Can Tho.

 

Day 13: Cai Rang Floating Market – Return to Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

• Morning: Boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market and explore quiet canals.

• Enjoy a bike ride along scenic countryside roads before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

• Free time until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
