La Marguerite, a 46 room French colonial style vessel that recalls the elegance of the Art Nouveau period in Paris, raises the bar of river cruising in the Mekong Delta. She offers an unparalleled cruise experience between Saigon and Siem Reap. The dining experiences add sparks to a personalized river adventure while the carefully researched excursions to cultural destinations allows for passion revival. The second vessel, Amalotus launches on 5 September 2011, adds 62 cabins to her inventory. The Interior Design by TTT Architects incorporate colonial French details and ornaments, local artifacts and Mekong styled furniture to replicate a true colonial feel set in premier and luxurious comforts.

ON BOARD ACTIVITIES
River cruising through the Mekong Delta on RV La Marguerite is a sophisticated and intimate journey filled with sightseeing, excursions and learnings along the inland waterways.
River cruising along the Mekong at a gentle pace and soaking up the scenery enriches one's life experience. An antidote to the pressures of modern day living. Perfect for all gourmet lovers and culture seekers.
Marguerite Duras, born Marguerite Donnadieu on 4 April 1914, focused on the lives of her characters in the novels. We design our cruise program to evoke the same emotion and passions.
A heroic & holistic journey through time, RV La Marguerite, the first in South East Asia, will revive our mental well being and reconnect passion with daily lives.
The concept of ying & yang describes how seemingly opposing forces are bound together, intertwined and interdependent in the natural world. We experience the Ying of the Mekong as the moonlight casts a soft shadow onto the tranquil river; and experience the Yang of the Mekong as the flowing river explodes into a charged stream filled with a myriad of activities.
RV La Marguerite operates in such a way as to harmonize with the natural environment by building and constructing composting wastewater treatment facilities.
